Why we picked it

Willpower is the weak link in a phone-free bedroom. A timed lock box keeps the phone out of reach until the timer ends, and this one has USB-C backup power and a child lock.

Best for

People who know they will reach for the phone at night and want a hard stop until morning

Not for

Anyone who must be reachable overnight (carers, on-call workers, parents of older children out late)

The details that matter.

  • • Countdown timer locks the lid
  • • USB-C backup power
  • • Child lock
  • • About £30 on Amazon UK
  • • Does not block or shield signals
