Honest caveat: The irradiance is quoted at 3 inches rather than 6, so it cannot be compared directly with the smaller panels, and at 36kg returning it is a real job. The task brief referred to a STUDIO 1.0, but the only STUDIO panel on sale is this 2.0 model. Solis publishes wavelengths and irradiance (about 180 mW/cm2), but these are the brand’s own figures and we found no independent spectrometer or irradiance test of any Solis panel. Every panel in the range claims the same ~180 mW/cm2 whether it has 60 or 960 LEDs, which is hard to judge without third-party data. ’Clinical-grade’ and ’medical-grade’ are marketing phrases, not a UK regulatory status, and ’FDA/CE approved factory’ refers to the factory, not proof the panel works. The crossed-out ’was’ price has looked permanent while we tracked it, so treat the sale price as the real price. The 90-day trial is generous, but you pay return postage on a bulky, heavy panel and must keep the original packaging.
