Why we picked it

Balance publishes a 2026 report from an accredited Italian lab (part of the TUV SUD group) showing ochratoxin A below 0.3 micrograms per kg, aflatoxins below 0.5, and lead and cadmium below 0.01 mg per kg. That is well under the GB legal limit of 5 micrograms per kg for roasted coffee.

Best for

Coffee drinkers who want to see a published mould, mycotoxin and heavy metal test before they buy

Not for

Anyone expecting a health benefit from the coffee itself, or who wants batch-by-batch results
